Terrance L. Bankston, 34 was born and reared in the South Ward of Newark, New Jersey. He is committed to the enhancement and advancement of the members of his community and challenges young people to make positive contributions to society. Mr. Bankston believes that the aforementioned is vital because ultimately “leadership recycling” will create direction through pathways to opportunities and roads to success. Terrance believes that giving back to a community that has reared and invested in you empowers us as a people, who will have greater impact on the world.
As a graduate of Newark’s Arts High School he received numerous awards for his exceptional leadership and commitment to empowering others to excel beyond the stereotypes of the world. Terrance also served as the Student Council President of Arts High School in Newark for the 1999-2000 academic school years. After receiving his BA in Political Science with a focus in Public Policy from Bloomfield College of New Jersey, Terrance enrolled at Seton Hall University as a Graduate student, fall 2004. In 2007 he completed his Masters Course work at Fairleigh Dickerson University, adding a Masters in Administrative Science to his credentials.
